50cases.com is not your grandfather’s law firm. I started it because after 20 years of handling nothing but car wreck cases I truly believed that this area of the law needed more access and transparency. Access to your attorney and transparency about the whole process. It’s called an “attorney’s fee” right? So, you should be directly talking to your attorney, not an assistant or paralegal about your case. That’s the experience you will have here. There is no other staff in the office – I am the attorney and I handle all aspects of your case.
That’s where the “50” in 50Cases.com comes in. I self limit my office to 50 cases. That’s it. In my opinion, one lawyer can provide personal service to 50 clients. Any more than that and care of the client has to be delegated to support staff. The lawyer is no longer as deeply involved in the case and most of the case is handled by clerks and assistants. That’s not how things are done here – I’m your lawyer and I handle everything.
Transparency was also lacking in my experience. A lawyer should pretty much be able to walk you through each step of a car wreck case from beginning to end when you meet for the first time. If they have done it enough, as I have, they should be able to tell you the strengths and weakness as well as an evaluation of what your case is worth. That is what you will find here. No legal doubletalk or hedging – just an open discussion of the case and a guide on it’s ultimate settlement value.
We say settlement value because the vast majority of car wreck cases will settle without going to trial. When a lawyer accepts your case, it likely means your situation has the three things necessary to have a good case:
- The other person is at fault.
- You have medical treatment.
- There is automobile insurance to pay the claim.
Once you have those three things, your case is not about whether or not the insurance company will pay. It’s about how much will they pay.
